After the tub is wiped down and any repairs ( if necessary) done, two coats of primer are applied. After the application and drying of each coat, the tub is sanded again lightly with fine grit sander.

The tub is wiped down again to remove dust and other impurities. Then another coat of primer is applied. After the light sanding and wiping down of the second coat of primer is applied, the tub is ready for top coat to be applied. Three coats of acrylic urethane are applied as the top coat.

The bathtub is sanded lightly after each coat is applied and dried. At the end of the third coat, you have a beautiful tub that looks like new.
