Q. Is your refinishing process environmentally safe?
A. Yes. We use only refinishing products that the EPA approved.
Q. Do you refinish only bathtubs?
A. No. We refinish other surfaces like, kitchen Formica (or laminate) countertops, ceramic tile, cultured marble vanity tops, sinks, fiberglass shower enclosures, pedestal sinks, ceramic tile, claw foot tubs, plastic tubs, oven doors, refrigerators, dishwashers, kitchen cabinets, shower pans, bathroom floors, and other fiberglass and acrylic surfaces.
Q. What colors are available for my choosing?
A. You name it, you got it. We can refinish and match almost any color you have now, or we can create almost any custom color you choose.
Q. Can you fix chips, scratches and cracks?
A. Yes. If your bathtub is acrylic or fiberglass and has chips and cracks, we can usually get them repaired during the preparation process making them invisible.
Q. How long does it take for you to re-glaze?
A. It takes about 3 to 6 hours depending on the condition to re-glaze a standard sized bathtub in a reasonable condition.
Q. How long will I have to wait to use it?
A. Usually about 48 hours for the curing process to complete.
Q. My bathtub was refinished once before. Can it be refinished again?
A. Yes.
Q. Do I need to bring my bathtub in to you?
A. No. We do all the work in your home or property.
Q. How long will my Refinishing last?
A. With proper care your finish can last 10 to 15 years.
Q. Is the refinished surface slippery?
A. The new finish is not anymore slippery than your new acrylic tub. Most of our competition will charge you for the anti-slip product that we use. We offer it FREE all the time.
Q. How long do I have to wait to be scheduled?
A. We can get you scheduled within 10 working days.
Q. Will my bathtub be easy to clean?
A. Yes. Our coating is non-porous, which means soap and other stains merely lie on the surface, not underneath. Your refinished bathtub will simply wipe clean, no scrubbing will be necessary.
Q. I'm planning on doing other work in the bathroom. When should I schedule bathtub refinishing?
A. In almost all cases, bathtub refinishing should be scheduled last.
Q. Does Refinishing have an odor?
A. Generally so. But with our proper use of scented refinishing process and proper ventilation and exhaust fans, we force the air inside outside.
Q. Does my Refinished surface look like it was painted?
A. No. Because the product we use is not paint. The company that makes our coatings, makes them just for refinishing surfaces.
